Raider camp (Cult of the Dragon)

A day’s hike, perhaps 14 miles, from Greenest the land turns from rolling fields of high grass to arid scrubland. Here, nestled in a horseshoe-shaped depression between two plateaus, is the Cult of the Dragon’s camp.

The raiders live in circular huts made from closely spaced wooden or bone poles covered in hide, mud and sod. Huts vary in diameter from 10 feet to 25 feet and in heights from 5 to 10 feet.

To the West, on the higher ground, is the sprawling kobold encampment with its smaller huts. To the East, in the lower part of the depression, is the human encampment. At its deepest, the human camp is 150 feet below the edge of the plateau.

Several tents appear to stand apart from the other human structures.

The brush around the valley grows to a height of 4 to 6 feet, making it difficult terrain but easy to hide in. The steep sides of the plateau are dotted with shallow caves.

Each half of the camp has its own guard tower, each roughly 20 feet tall. The human’s tower extends only 10 feet or so above the lip of the plateau.

You heard from a cultist (before you slit his throat) that there were some dragon eggs here… somewhere.
